The Secret of the Wave

   R iddled in dreams... conceptualized in art.... characterized in the motions of both the cosmos and ourselves.  This secret is no secret.  It is everywhere, and nowhere.  It is the carrier signal for form, and creation.  It is the alpha. It is the omega.  It is the wave.

Now i can assume for posterity that you are somewhat less than amused.  C'mon Tim, really?  A wave? How cliche.  How Trite.. how meaningless and amateur.

I can assure you, I realize where you are coming from.  I too, was not amused by the wave either.  It seemed like such a sedentary and obscenely obvious force of nature to be the answer to every question in the goddamn book.  But i can assure you, it is.  It is the pattern in which all patterns persist.  It is the function of all dynamical systems, and the path.  It is the single most important motion in the cosmos. It really is.  And I will convince you by the end of this rant.

If you take not but a few minutes to research such mathematical principles like the differentiable equation(wikipedia all of these if you dare), the parabolic arch and its power, Eastern philosophies such as Taoism and Buddhism, and other various schools of shamanic tribes and Sufi mystics.  They all reflect the true nature of reality, and how the mathematical systems of the universe operate.  The duality of nature directly states that there are two opposite opposing forces at play in the universe.  The swinging imbalance of both states, is what causes this wave pattern.  First the wave rises, in domination of one force. (black), and as it peaks. and reaches the apex of the wave, it breaks, and changes back to balance with the opposing (white) forces.

Call it hokum if you will, but mathematics and schools of philosophy thousands of years old support it.  Just because science tells you that your life is meaningless doesn't mean you should believe them for an instant.

Anyway, if I haven't made you a believer yet... I invite you to look at your own life.  For you too, are a part of this universe.  If what I'm saying is true, this wave pattern should surface and be apparent in your life, as well. 

After all , you are still alive, aren't you?

Good , then pay attention.

Reflect on your life for a few candid moments and reminisce of events past.  Events both tragic and new... Events that shaped and changed your life.  What do you see?  Do you see that your life started with novelty?  Learning new exciting things and coming into the world a bright, ecstatic young individual?  Did you not fall into bad habits that you needed to break?  Did you not come of age in a flash, and fucking ride the violent tides of puberty and adolescence?

Do you not see?  Do you not see that your life, your timeline, is a wave too.  It started with novelty, or new experiences.... it rose quicker and quicker, like a tightening spiral. You came to the proverbial top of the roller coaster scared and anxious, and you went down that hill like a champ! SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS, but surviving none the less and learning more about yourself from the experience.

you were scared.  we were all scared.  we didn't know what was coming next.  But we faced it head on and we grew into a new version of ourselves, over and over again throughout the years.  

Can you not now admit, that your life is a wave?  That time is a wave? that all nature is a series of waves? that all systems both alive and unconscious are all waves reflecting the grand fractal nature of the universe we live in? 

Doesn't that mean something to you?

Shouldn't it?

Like Carl Sagan once said, "We are all made of star stuff." 

And why not believe it?

What has science and culture and materialism offered you but a feeling of worthlessness and never ending bills and headaches?

I say to all my friends, believe what's inside of you. Believe what you can see, What you can know.. What you can feel.  

Because, what the fuck else is real?  REALLY?

WHAT THE FUCK ELSE IS REALLY FUCKING REAL?  

Are the Yankees winning the world series a real fucking issue?

Is how much cocaine Lindsey Lohan sniffs really gonna affect your life?

Is science and linear, narrow minded thinking gonna save your soul?

I hope not.  Because all that proponents of science love to state, is that they worship only Atheism and believe themselves to be nothing but a spec of an instant in time.  Forever doomed to be non existent forever after.

How uplifting is that?  Why even live?

FUCK THAT... THINK FOR YOURSELF... EXPERIENCE LIFE FOR YOURSELF... GET OUT... GO TO A THEME PARK ... RIDE A ROLLER COASTER... RIDE A WAVE... FIND YOURSELF.... .LOVE YOURSELF... TOUCH YOURSELF.....LET YOUR HAIR GROW OUT... BE WHAT YOU FEEL... 

AND DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE ELSE THINKS BECAUSE NEGATIVITY WILL DRAG YOU DOWN.

Why be negative? is there something to be gained out of negativity?  perhaps, at times.  perhaps insight.  perhaps misguided pity.

But turn your world upside down , and shake the mother fucker around.

i guarantee you'll find what you've always been looking for.  

That thing you lost so long ago, with your childhood and innocence.

The loving spirit within you that just wants to share and express.

the wave is you.  You are the wave.  among the waves

Revolve your world... Reconnect with self... Take your place among the stars forever.
